The Need Information Section on Service Transactions*

Have you been using the Need Information section on your service transactions? Lane County does NOT use this section for anything, nor does it get reported anywhere. The only exception is Whitebird's program, which is the only project that uses this. If you have been filling this out, ask your agency admin if they still want to continue to use it.

If you've ever looked at the service transactions tab, you will see tabs for “needs” and “services.” While we only use services, a need is automatically created when you create a service. The needs can be ignored and do not need any adjustments. The needs tab is a remnant of people in the county that still use the need's section, and the Need Information box was created to use with that.

*People that accept referrals from Lane County should continue to use the needs section of the referral process.

OHP Recipients/Health Insurance Tables

If you have clients who are receiving OHP it should be entered into the HUD verification table as MEDICAID - The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is our state's MEDICAID. =)
