There are three Data Quality (DQ) reports that you can run in Business Objects, all named after the type of Entry Assessment for your project:
1. DQ for BASIC | 2. DQ for LIGHT | 3. DQ for PLUS |
We recommend that you run this report monthly, and then download it to Excel, so you can see the column letters as they appear in the image below. Please note that this image is from the most comprehensive report (PLUS), so if you are running for BASIC or LIGHT, your report will not have all of these columns.
*Click on this photo to enlarge it. This is a screenshot of a DQ for PLUS Entry Assessments that was downloaded into Excel. The orange row represents the column in Excel. The green row is the Assessment Label.
Use this table as your key to understand how these columns correspond to questions in your entry assessments.
Excel Column | Assessment Label | Description |
Entry Exit Information: These cells will populate with information with client IDs, dates for when the clients were entered / exited into the project, and the name of agency staff who created the entry.
A | Client ID | Client ID |
B | Entry Date | Project Entry Date |
D | Exit Date | Project Exit Date |
E | User Creating | User who created the entry |
HUD Universal Data Elements / State and Local Elements / Additional Data Elements: These cells each correspond with one question in the project entry assessment. Green or gray text that says "Ok" means the assessment question was completed. Lines that show green and red font are entries that have errors. Anything in red is an error. Null means the question was not answered.
F | Name | Client Name |
G | SSN | Client SSN (SSN Data Quality question on the Client Profile tab) |
H | DOB | Client Date of Birth |
I | Race Ethn | Client Race / Ethnicity |
J | Gen | Client Gender |
K | Vet | Is the Client a veteran (U.S. Military question on the Profile tab) |
L | YN Disab | (Yes / No) Does the client have a disabling condition? |

O | Dest Exit | Destination at Exit |
P | HoH | Relationship to Head of Household (HoH) in Entry. Note: this only checks whether the question is complete, run the ESG CAPER and CoC APR to look for logic errors. |
Q | Loc | Enrollment Code / Client Location (Always OR-500) |
R | Res | Client's Current Residence (City) |
T | HH Size | Household Size |
U | HH Inc | Household Income |
V | AMI | Percent of Median Income |

AB | YN Ins | (Yes / No) Covered by Health Insurance |
HUD Verification: These last columns represent the HUD Verification Tables. Red text that says "Null" or has a number is an error. Null means none of the types in the table were completed. A number means that only some of the types were not completed.
